Singapore Exchange Rates


You can find many local resources for Singapore exchange rates. Most popular resources include the Monetary Authority of Singapore and many financial resources web sites.

With these resources, you can find current spot rates, historical spot rates for weekly, monthly, or yearly data, plus predictions for the Singapore dollar against the USD.

Singapore Exchange Rates Monetary Authority of Singapore

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) acts as the central bank of the country. As is usual for central banks, MAS conducts, among other duties, monetary policy and issues Singaporean currency, SGD.

The financial database of MAS contains information about the current and historical exchange rates for the S$. You can select the data for weekly, monthly and yearly only. Therefore, to get current rates, you should use another tools.

The information is located at https://secure.mas.gov.sg/frames/dataroom/msbhExchange.html. You can select the information in table format (for better viewing) or in text format (for easier import into spreadsheet programs).

There are many popular resources to find rates for the singaporean dollar. One of the reasons many foreign investors look up S$ information is because they want to invest in Singapore companies in the stock exchange and want to calculate their potential/realized gains in terms of exchange rate losses/gains as well.
