Workforce Investment Act
Workforce investment act laws and regulations include The Workforce Investment Act of 1998 and Wagner-Peyser Act as amended (1998).
This legislation is known as Public Law 105-220, also commonly known as the Workforce Investment Act, signed into law by President Clinton in a Rose Garden ceremony at the White House on August 7, 1998.
It replaced the Job Training Partnership Act and certain other Federal job training law with new workforce investment systems.
