national investment fund contest
A team from Purdue University's Krannert School of Management won the national investment fund contest of The Global Student Investment Strategy Symposium.
Krannert Management School students Sarah Biegert and Ben Hollenshead led the winning team, which had a fund that generated an investment return of 36 % in 2004, enought to win the growth investing category.
The Purdue Student-Managed Investment Fund started in 1998 with a $100,000 gift from a Krannert alumnus.
Today, the fund has over $290,000 in assets under management.
