These major directories include Yahoo!, Zeal, and DMOZ.org.

Yahoo! has lots of sub-directories for all of the states, including North Carolina (located at dir.yahoo.com/Regional/u_s__states/north_carolina/).

Yahoo! editors have listed real estate resources in several categories for North Carolina, including:

• Mortgage Loans
• Organizations

North Carolina Real Estate Investments - Zeal and DMOZ

Zeal is a community directory upheld by volunteers. The category supplies additional sites to LookSmart, a major commercial directory.

Zeal has several categories available for sites in North Carolina, but the ones for real estate seem to scattered in various national sub-categories instead of the local ones.

DMOZ.com is another directory run by volunteers.

For Raleigh, the last time I checked, I found at least 4 pages of different companies for real estate investing in the area.
