0 credit

0 credit refers to the availability of zero percent APR credit cards.

However, these credit cards have the 0 % APR only for a typically short introductory period, after which a normal rate of interest is applied to the balance on the card.

There are several advantages to using 0% APR cards, which include:

  • Certain low APR cards offer types of incremental rewards for using the cards. Typically, these are cash back offers on certain purchases you make, with as high as 5% cash back on purchases made on the card.

  • Certain cards offer benefits for air travelers. Typically, this means bonus air mile benefits on 0 APR credit cards .

  • The zero percent APR cards, when you apply for the new credit card and, if your application is accepted, allow you to transfer your existing high interest rate on the balance of the card to a new low one (at least for the introductory period). You typically have to transfer your money as soon as you get your new card in order to create eligibility for the introductory offers.
