Jobs in Technical Analysis

Then, if you show particular ability or preference in technical analysis, you might be selected to become one of the analysts in that particular team.

You will rarely see any of the relevant firms seeking for analysts to technical analysis positions, although that does happen occasionally.

Individual high net worth traders may also have an assistant working on technical analysis for his trading system, although these positions are very rare.

Although the brokerage divisions of investment banks sometimes do have technical analysts on their roster, you are more likely to end up in a technical analysis team if you join the investment bank's financial markets team.

Financial markets teams deal with trading and financial markets outside of equity markets and stock market analysis.

There are, however, occasional jobs in technical analysis that you can apply directly without the direct out of university route.
